The Community of East Menlo Park

Updated: Mar 7, 2020

Menlo Park is home to several beautiful parks and thriving tech companies. Located on the eastern edge of San Mateo County, it borders Palo Alto, East Palo Alto, and Stanford from the south, San Francisco Bay on the north and east, and to the west is North Fair Oaks, Redwood City, and Atherton. This city offers an abundance of trees that keep the area looking beautiful and allow the air to stay crisp and clean all year long.

Alongside this, Menlo Park is also home to numerous tech companies. These companies provide jobs for people in the area and have raised the value of homes and other property for many people. Not only was Google founded here, and Facebook's corporate headquarters currently reside, but many other big tech companies also call it home:

  • SRI International

  • E*Trade Financial Corporation

  • Pacific Biosciences

  • TE Connectivity

  • United Parcel Service

  • SHR Hotel L.L.C.

  • Intersect ENT

The majority of Menlo Park’s economy revolves around these companies, allowing the city to thrive. This rise in economy, jobs, and opportunities can also be attributed to the fact that Menlo Park is known as one of the most educated cities in not only California but the entire United States. At least 75% of people over 25 years of age hold a bachelor’s degree.

The parks of East Menlo Park are small and cute. Each one has it’s own personality and offers something different for the people that visit.
